I only just started trading ES a few months ago and have found the switch from stocks to futures to make a world of difference in my trading... I couldn't trade stocks well and ended down or BE. So much more to worry and think about, so much to choose from, company specific news etc. the focus on 1 thing really helps. Anyway just my opinion and experience.

What's your general style?You just trade price action from charts?

Regarding stocks vs futures: I'm actually experiencing the polar opposite! Early days yet but switched from futures to stocks recently and am doing a lot better (so far at least!) I think the huge variety helps me in that I can always find a chart that interests me, whereas sometimes the ES isn't telling me anything at all or offering me trades that I can see.

no problem, sometimes they come into play, other times not. just trying to find the magnets. been long this morning, looking to exit 53-54. and shorting bonds feels like im wizzing into the wind at the moment. oh well
