Finally have a new strategy. Been researching an overall new strategy for the last 6 months. Will be going live in the next 2 weeks or so as a 1-lot master lol. Might even post on p/l thread.
Last year was my most profitable year, but my consistency was not to my liking along with a system that firmly exploits price action to the fullest. I felt like I didn't have as strong of a grasp of PA and that I was blindly taking trades without understanding the root of what was happening with price. This year the system produced similar results. Overall I'm up on the year, but I felt like I was trading without an understanding of why.
My new strat trades off low TF charts, and captures larger moves when they are available like today's. I've scraped a lot of my fixed target trades, use a time based method for exit if a trade doesn't move my way after entry. And lastly, I'm only trading 930-12est as this is my most profitable trading time. Profit target on the day is 6 points. Initially my max loss on the day will be 4.5 points.
