ES Journal - 2014

Only area I considered was the 10:40am est 5 min bar. It looked like the supply from the 10:25 bar could overwhelm it. Since then it's just go long and close eyes :)

Up 13.5 pts in 2 days. Gonna call it quits for the weekend. Been a while since I've had a small streak like this. Gonna savor it while I can.
 
Wanted to win today more than wanted to make money. Market out of trade before it hit target, but only lost 1 tick of profit. However, I really need to leave stops and targets alone once in a trade especially if its going my way.

Now just got to remember not to over trade if I have a day with a losing trade and I think I will do fine.

The hardest thing to do is to leave a stop alone especially when u are up a couple points. Gotta give it wiggle room. I often find myself moving my stop at a 1pt loss when I'm up 2 pts. Really sucks but if u are trend trading, price doesn't always shoot cleanly up. Gotta set that stop at a point where, if price gets there, u know u are wrong about the trade rather than moving your stop to where u don't wanna lose money.

I played the "move my stop to where I don't wanna lose money after I'm up" for a while and I was often stop ran.
