@Handle

I hope your explanations of what a "trader" does for daily bread have an effect on the mentality of the ET crowd. Mental masturbation on ET seems to be at an all time high! Comments like "fancy gun-slinging" suggest there is at least some comparative and possibly open thinking going on.

Steve

As years roll by, I just see there are very few ways of my trading I will keep "secret", and those I do keep to myself, the average retail trader wouldn't hurt me and those are geared to long term trading and where my hedges and number of options are done. But in day trading and scalping, most lack the education is biggest nuance that young traders can't see. Much of what I have discovered on my own is seldom in books, and if it is, it is not in the course of hundred things I am concentrating during a trade.

You do anything long enough, you find what you once was "near and dear" not so as noobs couldn't hurt me and I am trading just like big "houses". Too many traders try to think they smart and invent new styles of trading, whereas I want to just tailcoat the big boyz, they selom lose. Read again, big boyz seldom lose, so makes no sense to develop some complicated method that only you trading, cause Volume of the big boyz is what moves price, more demand or less demand cause price to move. And they know where the small retail trader will fail. So that is why I have studied range of swings, like in ES, trend swings are approx. four points, whereas retracement swings are not. If one studies "litely" Elliott wave theory, the corrective waves are much shorter than the trend waves. Price is very much like ocean waves, as it gets closer to shore, it starts to fade and comes crashing down.

Big Bars, big range at ends of moves are very deceptive, you have "feelings" of wanting to be in cause you watched the end of a long move, well have you ever thought the big boyz know this and they have forced the price bars to take on a certain look to make you feel like you need to take a trade? If you think it is hogwash, you start watching end of moves a long time and you will notice patterns that occur often.

I love this game.

Disagree with your "big boyz" v " small boyz" analysis in that i don't think big boyz care about or even think about about 1 lot smallboyz :D
