I love watching countertrend traders get smoked, as they fuel my positions, being a zero sum game is somewhat exhilarating as well.

Don't take it personal if you have a hard time going long vs going short, as you have stated in the past. Not saying it was the case this time, but could had been.

At the same time, I hate doom and gloomers thinking the US is heading for collapse when it remains the greatest country on earth.

....but one day I will tell you how I really feel.

We all have issues, some more serious than others. Not a slam on those with legit ones. Mental issues are nothing to joke about.

I take nothing personal. I agree US is the greatest country in the world however I disagree with your assessment of the state of our finances. QE and raising the debt cieling is one big legalized ponzii scheme.If u think it will magically work itself out I wish u good luck.
