No offense to anyone, but I don't think news have any place in technical day trading. I'm not even sure there is any value in it for a long-term trader to be honest.

biotechs often enter triangles prior to fda approval, what technical method can predict which way the triangle will break out?

similarly how does merger news get explained technically? buying a company for $x/sh, share price is lower/higher (sometimes significantly)
