They are trying to roll the delta here back into the VWAP. Still long a piece of TF and will consider add if breadth still bullish after VWAP Touched.

Here's the footprint showing the algo VWAP Test in all its glory...

Most of the stuff I use in MD can be obtained other ways. But I do think they have a great footprint presentation and I use that to observe algo events between 1030 CT and 1230 CT. As for Market Profile concepts I think NVPOC's are relevant and the IB H/L matters until one side fails.

Does observing that positively influence your P&L or is it mere entertainment at this point? : )

I also think MP concepts are interesting and I like the two-way auction market model of the market, but still, the bottom line is if this information in any way can make us profit and better predict price action.

If not, then it's not very useful, is it?

NVPOC's and the IB H/L have a positive influence on my P/L. And I guess watching the algo does too as I am constantly reminded that most of the edge offered each day is before the Europe Equity Close. When I take a new position after 1030 CT I am always much smaller than whatever I did before 1030 CT.

FYI this is the driver of the breakdown. Retail sector completely fell out of bed on this.

Interesting.

Could you elaborate on what you mean about how most of the edge is before the EQC?

Do you plot the 1st 30 minutes H/L, i.e., opening range, as well? I learned that from Lawrence Chan and found it to be two levels that are interesting to be aware of. Often the IB = OR.

After Europe Equity Close at 1030 CT the market maker algos have much more control over the order flow.

The order flow after the 0900 CT extreme can be very informative in terms of the ultimate direction of IB extension.
