We've been sitting down in this range for almost 2 weeks. Daily is flagging. To me why would anyone want to be long term long at this point. That is the higer risk trade imo.
 
heard the other day...buy Rosh Hashanah sell Yom kippur...(or was it the other way around). Any thoughts on that? It seems to me with ES being a WORLD wide 24/6 contract the Jewish holidays would't have much effect but dunno.

I agree. I took all of my core stuff to cash when the VIX went above 14 without a meaningful new high in the SPX. Today I took off all intra-quarter equity positions with a negative P/L at that reject of INDU 1500. I thought getting to the NVPOC at ES 63.50 was going to be a piece of cake but it was not. So anything that was put on earlier in the week but not working by now has to go and everything else is on a tight leash.
