If sticking to price all this is meaningless and actually quite slow, the bars don't lie.

It is indeed interesting and key as far as current events, but better left alone until the end of the trading day, then the geopolitical events can be absorbed casually without letting it affect our trading reads.

Quote from Lojanica:

Doubt it. Likely we stay narrow range up. Tomorrow NFP. Sell today's close hold overnight. Stop and reverse if we don't sell off to retrace channel.

Just guessing....

Popped higher before the sell---which it often does---but otherwise followed the script.

Tagged both sides of the channel. As the channel was rising I suppose it needed to go higher first.

Why? Because the way the market was structured it was the path of least resistance. Now the entire selloff has been retraced and the channel is building higher still.

Wait and see for the afternoon session what unfolds.

I really doubt many folks were considering a move back to the open that fast without understanding what was happening.

If the moderator or OP tells me that posting news catalysts that are relevant to the current price action is against the rules of this thread then I will oblige.
