your last post was buy the dips, never lose or some crazy statement like that. now you flipped short with 100 es short and you just got done saying it doesn't work the last 4 years or something like that. ho hum, i don't get it.
day trade means go home flat,just trade for the day,swing trade means take a position long or short for a few days or longer,i'm still long means you are betting the market's going to rise,i am short 100 es means you are betting the market goes down,so your a swingtrader,long and short at the same time and a daytrader that goes home flat,all 3 at onceQuote from hitchslap:

Ammo before passing judgement lets just see if i'mright next week, Its no reduce add or add reduce or is it reduce reduce reduce and then add add and add.I've said what i've done now lets see i can make money.On paper your scaling looks great but in real life it gets one in hot water. By the way i looked at some of your old notes randomly and i noticed you had someone backing you a yr or more ago that pulled out. For someone doing so well why would you need some elses money? With the es one can do well with 50-100k if they're as good as you say you are

Hope it works out for you. The only problem I have with your posts is the questioning of others strategies. It is of no value. Everyone trades differently, has a diff personality and risk tolerance.
For me personally I trade because I want to make money. If someone does it shorting or going long only, all the more power to them. Trading is psychological enough, don't feed th fire, zero value to it.

Mastocoli i assure you watching or trying to follow any trader won't make you a nickel and i'll say it hurts more as its take you out of your element and makes you trade a way you're not used too.Traders in general are bearish so taking sentiment from a board like elite is misleading. Acutally if you look how this board has evolved this yr its facinating. at the beginning of the yr all were shorting every pop and after month after month of the short side being tough look at all the people who go long on here now as the short side has killed so many. Thats telling me bears threw in the towell months ago and were ready to hit the mkt into the fall. we shall see
