I cant imagine how deeply profitable ammo would be if he used his style on the long side.

would work for awhile then kaboom,don't run that risk in this style of trading,there are no kabooms to the upside as long as the us and every other developed nation is (whisper..bankrupt)..meanwhile the uvol over dvol ratio just slipped under 4/1, lowest today

SPY tracks better, no exp, no (routine) insane overnight swings.

If I could hang on to an ES contract long enough I would be several percent better off, but with the above factors it is not practical for me.

for 10 fning years SPX/ES went basically no where with heart stopping draw downs and some 50 pt upswings in the pre market that ruined many a decent trader...take a look at 1999-2009 before you make such an inane comment. The problem with the draw downs is you run out of margin if your trading ES and are quickly bankrupt before you have a chance to even add liquidity. The SPY is a much better dollar cost averaging up instrument because you are paid dividends to off set the long periods of doing nothing. ES is trad able...period

Out 99.75...forgot to close this out earlier for thread integrity. I had a limit sell at HOD I decided to move and never got filled. No biggy.

I think we may still hit another hod, but I've some other commitments to attend to.
