ES Journal - 2013

That is it - Anyone who wants to short for easy 10 points get short now!!

Be open to the idea of keeping your short on over the weekend. 20 points available on platter.

more of a short term "cautionary" attitude....

Been beaten down while strolling this same path before.

If it looks and smells like shit, no need to taste it to further prove it.

What are you willing to risk?

I have roughly 2k on risk on this trade.

I must add however that being opex, the down side move might get supported by players. On general days, i think by now we should have broken to the downside.

But being opex, the dynamics are different. For me, anyways the rationale is simple. We are up more than 4% for the month, and we will close the month below this level. Since I don't see May to be 4%. So I am willing to hold on to trade. Only problem is if meanwhile ES shoots to 1680 before dropping. I don't foresee that happening.

Another thing todays high is below weekly high. So, that also gives me confidence in my original thesis that 59.75 won't get breached. If it does get breached, i will lighten up my position and will be looking to add around 64-65 next week or today if we get there.

Seems your invitation to others is very confident... "That is it - Anyone who wants to short for easy 10 points get short now!!"

Just curious to see what type of risk you were not mentioning.

Hope you are successful in this over the weekend play..... :)

I actually thought after posting if i am went over-board in my writing :D

I can easily be very confident and still be wrong on at least 25% of trades. That still means on very confident trades, I am talking about 75% win percentage which is great in my eyes. So, yes if anyone gets influenced by my writing and the trade turns out to be a loser, he won't be terribly happy.

Being opex, being a friday and we still not having broken the lows, I hope no one takes too much risk based on what i typed. I could very well be wrong.
