No worries. I tend to think that I am semi-decently educated on world events especially of last century. For common and general knowledge, I like following trading related books the most:
1) Niederhoffer Edi of a Spec (probably read 3 times, I couldn't understand much the first time I read it) but when I read it I was just starting my career and I was lazy so i didn't go ahead and test everything he wrote in that book.
2) Niederhoffer Practical speculations
3) Soros on Soros, Alchemy of Finannce
4) MktWizards 3 books + Hedgehogging
When i started out I was all into this global macro thing, but now I am much more research driven technical/quant trader - Now I tend to think more like ammo - nips and cleavages work just test them and trade them (don't worry too much why they work). lol.
I think its safe to say that ignoring occasional fights, we on ES-Journal are a pretty supportive and friendly crowd. Maybe we should all get together once a year and have an ES-Journal party - and Ammo (probably) being the most experienced fetches the bill
