I agree. there is truth that buying over long periods of time gives better results and your drawdowns are much lesser.

Having said above, I wonder how much ammo's performance will improve if he completely inverts his strategy and instead of being always selling, becomes always buying. I would guess his PL should go up by at least 20%

not too sure about the timing of that statement seeing we just touched an all time high line, although chances of it going higher are greater, chances of an overnight blowup vs an overnite beatdown,the down moves are much more dangerous,so long strategy holds higher overnight/weekend risk
