Sorry to intervene in this thread, I don't trade ES directly, but rather I use it for signals.

I'm watching 1550.0 - 1550.50 right now (in the next 30 minutes) as resistance, we are currently below.

That's a good question. I watch all the futures, indexes, and ETF's, if possible. ES seems to give good signals oftentimes and respects my little support/resistance system enough to give great risk:reward. Being Friday afternoon, I don't find this to be the best time to trade, generally, however.

If you're looking at the long-term, then, the small difference is tiny, though. I look at SPX to trade ES.

exit last trade 50.25 for another + 3.75.

non-system net: +12.75
system net: +7.75
