ES Journal - 2013

i don't disagree with that, but i do not believe there is some grand plan either (other than the fed working to stabilize asset prices). i do feel u may be in the zerohedge type group think that has gone on since 666.
i too have traded since late 80's and am cautiously buying..but my time horizon is in yrs on that part of the book.

anyway, i wish the short term es traders luck....just responding to what i see as too much bias possibly messing with shots at making money.

If you are buying here, I sure hope you are hedged.

Next 5-10 years is going to make everyone hate equities

most every short is getting punished.. not even a 10 point down vol.

Interestingly enough, rsi and it's variants are proving somewhat useful in scalp and very short term trades in this environment.

apply the tools when they are working.

It is very tough to add to mid term positions at the tops. Dividends may help.

401k input must go somewhere though....and they will keep dumping it in.

there working out a plan to get rid of 401k's,move them to individuals management as the corp's can no longer insure the profits or match the input

if they want to continue spending like they are, they are going to have to tax more then the top 1%. 401k's and IRA's are prime for pickins, they don't have to tax it at current rates, maybe just enough to fill the gaps that they have already / are creating. it's either that or cut spending which we know they are incapable of doing. since QE3 has been announced, gov already paying more on borrowed money. they r in a pickle hoping for one of the players to overthrow the ball to get to 2nd base safely.

Reid is a proponent of gov takeover of 401k rendering them as an annuity guaranteed by the gov. Another social security "good intention" program that will quickly become consumed in fraud waste and abuse as does every other inefficient government system.

Not a political rant, but would seem we would need another crisis to get this passed.

Much money to be made by those friendly with the policy makers. $$$$$$
