So, why someone wants to sell 8k at this particular price level and not sell it gradually?
Well I have a theory regarding this size.
1) Either someone has sold an exotic option like some KO type of option with strike at 1494/1494.25 and so wants to hedge the resultant exposure.
2) Or, it is some big market participant that was long in the morning and showed such big size so as to attract the bots to this size. We can see that market did a massive run-up in the first 5 minutes and since then it has been only up and up.
So, now we see that 94 has been taken out.
1) buy from retail/ small funds hedge funds outside the inner circle. Accumulate a position.
2) algo take price up using size
3) sell to another party within the inner circle.
4) book profit on that quantity.
5) if you deviate price enough, the small players will 'uncle'.
Institutions buy and sell from each taking price in a direction that they choose and opposite to retail orders.

Calculate how many trillions in value was created raising indices to current levels.. And what was actually used to bring prices to this level.. All out of thin air.
