I decided to scrub the post as
a) within a few minutes of posting, the market told me it was unlikely to hit that price by the close
b) I've realised that making calls here isn't going to stimulate the type of discussions I was interested in
c) therefore I don't see the value in doing so, and will focus on improving my trading and working on other goals instead

As you point out, you didn't much care for the call anyway, and I think that is the consensus here.

The market traded up to 55.25 so missed the 56 short price by 3 ticks, before trading down to 34.50 which was 2 ticks off new lows. So the call missed the top of the move by 3 ticks and the bottom by 2 ticks. I could mutter quietly that this is within my tolerances for an 83 tick move, or I could just admit I'm losing my touch!
