Quote from Laissez Faire:

Being able to sit on my hands for one whole day is a victory for me.

all the losses i didnt take far outweighs the sum of my winners, not trading is by far the most important trade, great skill to master

I took a pass. No trades for me today. It may happen, but in this slow grind I`m not convinced and I won't have the opportunity to make good on my losses if stopped.

Two announcements tomorrow and a press conference. Should be seeing some movement, no?

Will it be dead until the first announcement, perhaps?

As of finishing this post, we did drop a little, but still, I don't regret missing it. :)

SELL IT...you heard it here first.

Why the sudden change of heart?

You may very well be right. I only daytrade at the moment though, so I will have to pass on your grand call. :)

I just want some god damn swings tomorrow!

Not a grand call, we have gone up for 4 days, no retrace what so ever. Sell it is strictly short term. I think we top out at the highs of the year over the next 3 weeks. Most of the gains will come from the overnight sessions. North America will get stuck with tight ranges all day long. Wake up around 2am cst to catch the fluff higher.

Counting today, we've had 120 occurences in my roughly 6 year sample where the 4th day was an up day. 55 of those had an up day next, so based on that alone it's basically 50/50 tomorrow, odds slightly favouring a down day.

Should be an interesting day for sure considering the daily charts and tomorrow's meeting. At least I hope so. :)

Wow...just won't go down, but it will after fed meeting.

Attitude of an inexperienced trader, thinking they can predict the market reaction of a major economic statement.
