Quote from Lespaulr0cker:

Algo stop run targeting all the stop orders held by the shorts who got trap reversed in the RTH.

maybe it was a stop run afterall. Some BSD finding it easy to run stops in AH and selling at a good price, so market opens down and he can cover 8-10 points down 5000 contracts. Very interesting strategy - if it is what that BSD has tried to do.

I haven't really looked at spikes in AH session on ES, but I feel motivated to take a closer look on it now.

So, it seems it was not a stop run, but market really wants to go up. It was a genuine move.

Why is everyone here so bearish? Because of the fiscal talks?

I took a look at the daily chart yesterday and it does not look that bad to me.

My model, which is wrong just as often as it`s right, says we`re set for a good up day today. As long as yesterday`s high and close is defended, we should have a good shot at the gap around 1423 by the close.

In my humble opinion. :)

We may of course fail here and slide down to yesterday`s close.

Maybe we need to wait for the news to find out.

s and r as well as pivots have only been respected on rare occasion the past couple days / week. Larger time frames are obviously stronger, but they are proving a need for some wide stops.

eur/eud in a well defined channel again.
