Yes can't complain just that the market is acting pretty weird. If it acts weird and moves 10-15 points, its ok. It starts to become dangerous if it suddenly starts moving 25-35 points (like it did last August). If you are on the wrong side of the trade and are not quick to cut your loss, one day loss could be huge. So, yes its easy to trade but can be very dangerous as well.

Average range breached and a lot of good swings already, so I`m calling it a day.

How do you guys keep track of who`s talking and when? CNBC?

I only know what I read from Bloomberg's economic calendar.

Sorry, i was a bit disappointed to post. I was up 1000$ in profit on the long trade, closed the trade at 1395 (before my target of 1397) and then went short from 1395.5, ended up just 500$ in profit.

Edit: Classic case of good planning but poor execution.

The current high today is 1404,75 and the R1 pivot level is 1404,50.

Random? Or do these levels actually matter?

Now I feel bad, that maybe I helped you to jump ship early. The upper BB hit didn't work on the futures but it did on the 5 mins cash chart. It did drop 4 pts from there, then the Williams % gave a long signal, where you could have gone long again...

Well, don't listen to people while trading.
