a flash crash is driven by a mindset that is irrational when any participant steps in to mean revert they get burned, so the mean reversion players step away and trend traders dominate.
trend traders reset at session closure. Daily trend traders stay in till current daily play runs out steam.. (dec 31st)
I still don`t quite follow, but not worries.
I`m done for the day, but I`m interested to see if my predictions for the close will work out. Basically, I`m expecting this day to close red, with 40 still as a possible target.
If I was very confident, I would have backed it with money, but I`m not, as I`m just starting to work with this type of prediction. Just fun for now.

if we are making predictions, my guess would be 1362 as a minimum.
I`ve seen stranger things happen in the market, but I just don`t see it today.
Any particular reason why?
1) We are oversold on dailies.
2) There was intense buying at 1005-1015.
3) Again there was good buying post 1300.
So, I won't be surprised if we see another round of intense buying around close and it pushes the price up.
However, the lull after 1405 is not very convincing for a ramp up close scenario.
where is it going?
You need to draw one more line.
