Well I completely lost my account lol...

Went from $1500 to $350 ehh

It's amazing like all the trades I made went against me and in the demo I win all the time.

I guess this thing is not for me :(.

Sigh...
When Thomas Edison was interviewed by a young reporter who boldly asked Mr. Edison if he felt like a failure and if he thought he should just give up by now. Perplexed, Edison replied, "Young man, why would I feel like a failure? And why would I ever give up? I now know definitively over 9,000 ways that an electric light bulb will not work. Success is almost in my grasp." And shortly after that, and over 10,000 attempts, Edison invented the light bulb. ........... stay at the drawing board, sim for a while longer

Did you have a well backtested trading plan? Often times when starting out, trading is like a child in his frist candy store, jumping around and excited, whatever he thought he would do went right out the window and before he knows it, all the candy is gone and he has no more money left.

ES is by the hardest and Crude is 2nd hardest market and in the world to trade, not for the inexperienced. Go with a Forex account and trade very very small till you learn Price Action. I make 20 to 100 trades a day in ES, but I am very experienced scalper, risk next to nothing and target are small, and I don't pay retail comm, comm are extremely high if you do too many trades in any market if you paying retail.

OH, and not all demos are the same, some are geared to make you think you doing better by allowing your targets be filled first time they are hit.

Thanks ammo!

Guess it went a little up and I am still in the game.

Now $453

$400 margin and Margin call I believe it's when you reach %80 , so $320

So I have $133 free lol...

Yeah demos are mostly useless. In the real world you pay comm + bid/ask spread each time you enter a trade, you will rarely, if ever be able to buy at the bid and sell at the ask when you trade something like the ES.

demos should be used to look at charts and setups, when you get those working, you still have to learn to trade, i think it would be wise to stay on demo for over a year, its like learning anything else
