Does ES really trades 24/7?
I'm asking because I look to hedge options position with a conditional order to short ES contracts, and worried about a gap down.

Es does not trade 24/7.

Trades from Sunday evening 6pm till Friday 4.15pm eastern time, with a 15 min gaps at 4.15pm each evening.
