I felt that I read the market like an open book yesterday, but this is more confusing.

The bottom may very well be in.

I may initiate a short if 87 is resistance. I find it tough to enter down here as we just keep snapping back up and the reward is limited with 80 as possible support.

EDIT: Still a larger bear flag down here.
