I have heard the term value zone before. What does that mean?

It's simply where most of the volume is (by price level), it's usually what is talked about when you're dealing with market profile. Usually it's the same place where price has spent the most time.

Covered ES Long @ 87.50 +2. Market seems to be running out of gas, volume getting thin.

(EDIT: Of course shortly after I exited, ES spiked to my target. What was I saying about confidence and proper trade management?? LOL!!)

Looks like the money was made early today. Time to enjoy the great outdoors for awhile...

Nothing wrong with making a few points.

Kind of thought P/A looked long.

PA is neutral for the day so far as we are in a trading range. I say long only after a breakout and test of 1392, or with a bear swing under 1392, short a weak rally!

itseems I am a bit early but short 1392.5

Edit: I needed to wait maybe 10 seconds and I would have got a price of 1393.5 ....

I guess this is what happens in thinly traded markets. Stop runs become very painful.

I feel your pain... you're fighting the resumption of a pretty good up trend since at least the 23rd. It's always good to look at the longer term, it gives more of a clear picture.

Turns out the decline to 82 was the pullback that should have been bought.

Longs @ 89 and 90 would have been low risk.
