I admire your patience Ammo. I am trying to build the courage to hold at least one contract for these bigger moves but confidence still not there in my system.
repetition,takes time

it will come with experience. Ammo has 25 yrs of experience, so you will get there....oflate it seems that your ES trading has improved.

need this to happen in aapl.. this parabolic run ,drop to lower nip ,retest upper nip, drop again to recent lower nip, fail to hold then drop to next nip is the simple strategy used, doesn't always hold/work but that's the repeated pattern seen over and over, opposite for the runups, using aapl for an example ,it's not a mean reversion stock like the spx but the picture is a simple way to illustrate it...once you are in you can use the shorter timeframe nips.cleave.ledges to adjust ,massage your avg, taking profits /losses to keep you in the trade

long 82

out at 83.75, would have held the trade but today is a fed day and after ES started dropping sharply after touching 86.75, and with the overall trend down (at least till yesterday) I am not sure if holding it is wise.

Probably will look for short setup now.

Edit: now short 1383.75

spy sma 20 day 50 day heading for a cross?

I have the 20 ema daily right on the 50 sma daily. Let's see if we can actually get a cross close after bennie and the boys spill the beans.

for a target (before fed announcement) I am looking at around 1375-77.

If we don't start to continue down fast, I will be out of this trade and then no more trades till 230 EST or so.

Thanks. Days like today make me somewhat nervous but I guess that is the nature of fade trading. But it fits my personality and I can live with it.

Looking forward to sizing up after April if my month stays positive. Will let the numbers do the talking.

Just an FYI: The FOMC statement is at 12:30 EST today, not the usual 2:15.
