ES Journal - 2012

Its pretty clear to me that we are going up, currently we are making a bull flag. When I started trading ES, I lost money trading ES for maybe 5 or 6 consecutive months, lost more than 10k trading only 1 contract. So, lost around 200 points in maybe 5 months, that works out to be 40 points per month loss in a very consistent way :).

Finally, I am starting to tame this beast. Feeling Happy and Satisfied :)

And bored?

If you're doing it right, the boredom should make you feel like prying your eyeballs out of their sockets with a letter opener. Or something.


In all seriousness, though, congratulations. It's a great feeling to persevere and prevail in the face of odds that seem to smile on failure.

The benefits extend beyond your bank account, IMHO. In fact, I'm beginning to think that's the least of it.

I see what you are saying. I am actually feeling excited!! I think this feeling will continue for few days and then gradually I will start to feel bored.

I mean for last 6 months, I kept making money in FX and kept losing it all in ES. It was a very hard time period for me. Finally I am getting ES - this feeling is making me excited. Everyone on ES journal saw I used to post trades and used to lose money on more than 70% of them :) Finally I am out of that trap.
