These are the choices?

Am I the only one who's begun to wonder whether something about the ES has changed, rendering it close to untradeable. Or, more precisely, tradeable, but hardly worth the effort?

Compare ES to NQ and one begins to wonder why bother with ES?

I think everything has changed in general with the lower volume and lower volatility this year. Key is adapt to it but not get too comfortable as it will change again just like it did in 2007 and remember how long that lasted.

But what do I know. Trade what you see not what you think.

Maybe it's HFT? Low volatility has always existed, back in 2005 you had 5 point range days.

I think alot of newbie traders go addicted to the 100 point range days of 2008, which is actually abnormal. Days like today is normal for a normal stock market.
