out 09 for +0.75 ... pretty classic really, the usual me would take the profit at 10 or 10.25, but in trying to be a good boy it doesn't work out so well this time.

If it makes you feel any better I let three perfectly reasonable 20 tick CL targets evaporate into nothing today by removing hard targets hoping for a break out of a channel. Then late in the day I locked in my @#$%-ing 20 ticks only to watch it finally break out of the channel and come within 12 ticks of the measured move target I'd calculated while the flag was forming. Yeah, that was an additional 60 ticks of travel with me left behind at the station.

should have written this to read I'm sharing your pain in clipping winners short to see them run or holding them to see them dissolve.

It (psyche) shows up later as "voices" warning of what happened last time.

So I just noticed that /NQ made a new high today. Pretty interesting. Again I'm not a wizard at longer term charts, but if the NQ tends to lead then it seems like there is a much larger incentive for the market to continue climbing.

As far as the NQ chart goes, we are breaking pretty significant resistance. If the NQ stays above 2378(ish) this thing could rip. Thoughts?

Also noticed the divergence with indu in the afternoon....did they paint them dow doggies?

on the nq highs....it seems to correlate with all the text book patterns and breakouts we are seeing. How many people a year from now are going to say to themselves "why the hell didn't I buy that ascending triangle breakout, upper tl breakout, eur breakout, nq breakout etc?

It's probably gonna look like hindsight of March 2009. Damn I should have bought massive amounts of GE and others, arrggghhh.

Just my .02. I am adding to investments though..oil, drillers, pharma, select banks, select defense....

OK, so I'll be a crazy and predict a big down day tomorrow.

SPX sitting right on that trend line, with a < 8 point range, and 650M+ shares trading. If you're into VSA or Wyckoff, that should be somewhat significant to you. Huge VPOC shift in the last few hours, huge volume traded at 10/11, and no further push up. I will be looking short tomorrow unless action suggests strongly otherwise.
