es is much stronger today compared to nq....It seems that AAPL is having a big effect on NQ.

In my belief (and mind you that following statement is backed by no research whatsoever), there is an important implication in such divergent indices situation:

1) Such situations make it considerably difficult to go straight long or short one index, because I "think" that reliability of setups would decrease in such situations.

Now, it should be pretty easy to test the above hypothesis - I will test this hypothesis in near future.

LOL...exactly!! :p

I am looking to short a stop run to ~ 71.

Short ES @ 70.50, Target @ 67.50, Stop @ 73.50.

(EDIT: Stop to 72.50 @ 11:00)

(EDIT: Stop to 71.50 @ 11:07)

Change of mind :)

Probably, better to go long the stronger index and better to short the weaker one, rather than vice versa.

Covered ES Short @ 68.50 +2. Maybe a bit premature, but I think I hear a train coming...

Either that or we go sideways for the next couple of hours. Think I will call it a morning and enjoy the balmy SoFlo weather for a bit.
