I think I have a safe entry, so I'm going to put the stop at b/e and see if we can trade up to 12.50's. We are seeing some high TICKs now so hopefully I don't get flushed out.

Nice job B..

My beef with the market (if you want to call it that) is not that it goes one direction most of the time, but the WAY it moves one direction. It's like they sell at a place for the mere formality of it. There's no genuine selling interest really. Just let it move up, and then let it move down, but enough with this 3 points in 4 hours BS, my god, I'm withering away here as a beautiful day passes me by, while watching this game they play, called a "market" which is misdirection and manipulation, pretending to do one thing but doing another. But I suppose it wouldn't be a market if it were any other way, am I right?

So, do you mean "chop"?

Josh, I gather that earlier you used to trade CL and from what people have written, you were seemingly very good at it. Why did you move to ES then ? Also, what are the differences between CL and ES in your experience.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Would not say very good. The risk became too high after a while when the volatility increased so much last year at some point for me. It was like, enter a trade, due to whipping around, a 20 tick stop was not safe and would get taken out easily in, say, 5 seconds. Too much volatility. I just wanted something more calm. Perhaps I should be careful what I wish for! This is a little TOO calm for me! :D

Someone elsewhere was kind enough to remind me that AAPL's earnings is today after market close; don't know if that will be 4pm cash close, 4:15, or 4:30, or what (maybe some of you know?), but I am keeping it in mind in case I am holding a trade near the close.
