What next?

For a day trade, I just can't get myself to enter a long here. Above last week's range now and acting as support.

Still potential to fail here and I`m not sure if we'll pass 30 if we get there. Hence my hesitation to go long.

But I'm definitely not shorting either.

EDIT: At least not yet. If we fail here and trade below 24, I may position myself for a gap fill below. Yesteday's 50%, pivot and close all line up at the exact same level today.

INDU and SPX gaps filled. Naz clearly broken-out from channel. eur/usd pushing for a "quad-top"

Tough swing longs with entries in this area.

Setting up a potential short here, IMO. Not sure yet.

No confirmation yet. Still support at R1 and the day's 50% level.

Why is it?

I`m not convinced. I wanted to short as a day trade, but I was disciplined enough to wait for confirmation and not get in early. Thanks to that, I did not get trapped in what was only a pullback to support.

I think this could be one of those days were we simply grind higher, but I`m not interested in going long either. I`m considering taking the day off until tomorrow.

Breaking out of this zone on higher time frames should be of some significance, no?
