The algos sniff out most any retail orders in the book and use their speed advantage to move price toward them by placing and retracting orders so quickly that the slower algos and manual folks get left holding the bags along the way.

Market orders, limit orders one tick above/below the bid/offer, and far away physical stops are the only way to protect yourself from the "sniffers" from what I have learned.

NQ is weaker than ES today. I pray it`s an early tell.

ES is resisting, but it may simply be a repetition of the classic theme 'postponing the inevitable'.

Ususally makes for a nice slide when it happens.

With that failure at new highs, this RTH session is starting to look like a bear flag consolidating the down move from yesterday, before the next push down.

Still think we may slide here...

Any other crystal balls that are working?

EDIT: The flag broke, but someone is still resisting. Looking at 1400 and below?

The results of HFT are hitting the MM, hard to believe anyone would invest in a market that is rigged against them. Odds are much better at many blackjack tables.
