what's the rationale of someone calling a market top or bottom? borderline insanity

I remember you calling bottoms in crude awhile back from 45 down to 30.

Sure, it could land on red, or black...sometime today, or tomorrow, or next week...perhaps sometime next month...but it will definitely hit it sometime next year...
And besides, predicting (or bragging) is only half the battle...a good prediction can just as easily turn into a losing trade with poor management skills -- and Vice versa,
