The way the Rule of 10 works is a perfect example for what ML Quant is doing here.

You call out a random, evenly spaced series of numbers and say "the market will hit here or the market will hit there", ostensibly, you will be proven right until you start trading the system with real money, at which point you will be blown out (as all of your found out when you were trying to trade the system in the Rule of 10 Journal).
