Joe has left the building. What he posted was not an SCT chart but a situational awarness chart that is only part of a larger and decidedly non-SCT system. The channel drawn illustrates the point that sometimes it is informative to draw channels upside down. I do not trade SCT. And I trade every day and I haven't had a loser this week either. Mainly because I would never trade anything as ambiguous as SCT.

All I am speaking towards is the method working if properly in place. Getting to a level where SCT is possible is still very far away from me and I dont think I will attempt it anyways. I am very happy to see the market how I do and pick my spots accordingly.
Who knows? If you follow SCT for a while you might find elements of it that you like. But the best methods clearly are ones you invent yourself. Good trading to you.
