If you like to have TV on in the background (I do), flip channels over to Bloomberg. Bloomberg keeps it business for the most part. No arranged fights, yelling, stupid jokes, segments called "Empty Calories" (aren't all segments on CNBC empty calories), and less cheerleading.
Erin Burnett can be painful to watch when she ad libs, makes a joke or half asses an interview with little/no prep. Few on CNBC (there are a couple exceptions) do any deep dives or have the background to make value added comments...wish they would just stick to the news and do some research once in the while.
