Holder vows to press federal probe in Zimmerman case

WASHINGTON — Attorney General Eric Holder called the death of Trayvon Martin "unnecessary" Monday and vowed to proceed with a civil rights inquiry after the acquittal of George Zimmerman.

In his first public comments since Saturday's jury verdict in the racially charged case, Holder told a convention of the nation's largest black sorority that the federal government is "determined to meet division and confusion with understanding and also with truth.''

Holder is not happy with the truth in an open court, he wants to make up his own.
 
One legal analyst stated that she thinks Holder will continue this as an open investigation for the remainder of the Obama presidency.

Let's hope that's not too much longer.
 
The truth is that if little Trayvon knew what civility and manners were he would have talked with The Zimm and gone his merry way... The truth is that Zimm needed to carry a weapon because of people like Trayvon and he did so.

I'm kind of happy for Zimmerman, he's going to sue MSNBS and that could be a large settlement indeed. He could argue they took away his privacy and reduced his lifetime income and brought psychological damage to him. Holder isn't going to bring any charges that will stick, all he can do is the Democrat shit where they investigate a person until the person can't afford an attorney anymore. They investigated Sarah Palin about a dozen times, found nothing at all and forced her to leave her office as governor of Alaska because she exhausted her personal resources on attorneys. Maybe Holder will team up with the Martins and try to ruin Zimm in civil court, who knows? Zimmerman has to try to find a court that can't be overly influenced by the WH maybe?

They were just saying today that Zimmerman is broke. He needs to keep it that way by putting anything he gets in his wife's and parent's names. It's best if he can keep any awards from passing through his name if possible.

You can't handle the truth! Holder, we live in a world that has neighborhoods, and those neighborhoods have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, al sharpton? Zimmerman had a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Martin and you curse white people. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know, that Martin's death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And Zimmerman's existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives! You don't want the truth, because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want Zimmerman in that neighborhoodl. You need Zimmerman in that neighborhood. He uses words like "honor", "code", "loyalty". He uses these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. Zimmerman has neither the time nor the inclination to explain himself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that he provides, and then questions the manner in which he provides it! Zimmerman would rather you just said "thank you", and went on your way. Otherwise, Zimmerman suggests you pick up a weapon, and stand a post. Either way, Zimmerman doesn't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!
