For the past 20 years, it has been moving in a range (around 5 to 15).
So it will continue to move in a range until the chart says otherwise.


Anyway, the current downtrend started 2 years ago.
It went down from 15 to 6.

Has ~540 million public cameras feeding into their AI survelliance systems.
Has had leaks showing extensive data sets on one billion of their own people.
Has a dystopian social credit system.
Requires their nationals by law to spy for the Chinese state if requested.

And you think Huawei is unproblematic or what? Get a grip.

China has 4 times more population than the US. I think the surveillance rate in percent is higher in the US than in China or anywhere else on the planet. Western network equipment providers like this Ericson, Nokia, Cisco, Netgear etc. are forced to put a backdoor API called CALEA into their products: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communications_Assistance_for_Law_Enforcement_Act
The situation in the US is IMO worse than in any other country, incl. China.
But hey, it's allegedly a democracy... :) This of course excuses everything... :)

earth_imperator still sitting in the west talking about how great Russia is? Irkutsk real estate is cheap, can't afford a plane ticket or what?
