ER2 has topped?

Few basic ER2 questions.
Bear with me.
Just venturing from equities to futs side.

Each emini Russell 2000 cost about 750ish right now?

Each tick is $10?

So assume that why everyone uses 1min tick charts.

To open account need 5K.
So as long as your just using that 5k you wont be out on margin. Example could buy 4-5 contracts as 750ish each?

Thx for the help.
I know boneheaded questions.

Take a look at these links

There are also other sites with info, just do a search, as you are misunderstanding how the margin is calculated and it will vary slightly from broker to broker on the maintenance margin.

I suggest some more research before delving into the Futures arena.

Quote from dealer:

After trying to sell at 774 for more than a week I finally get filled.

But of course no sooner had I caressed the ER2 at 774, she turned and slapped me in the face and ran to 779. But she's finally warming to my touch. Stop already moved to B/E.

Are you still holding that short? Great call my friend...

Have you ever traded futures before? If not, you will just be handing over your money. Thanks in advance.

Let's see the blotter. It's the least you can do after you non-stop demand for same from Franz.

Still have the short but did not sell more on the way down as I had planned. I really thought we would get a meaningful bounce. The position is very small when compared with other positions I have on so my stop will remain at B/E.

If my assumptions are correct then I think we are going much lower. I really think we could visit the 710-715 area before the end of April.
