not really 774.00 and 779( 778.97 to be exact) are my daily R1 and R2....if it goes higher than that ....i certainaly wont go long ... i make 2 or 3 trade per day base on those numbers. if i don't see any opportunities today, too bad :)

Well it doesn't look like I'll be putting on the 2nd tranche of my short at 774. On the way down my next short will be on a 15min close below 763.50. So a ways to go yet -and who knows maybe we spike up again :D
 
Although the tape is looking uglier by the minute remember that the REAL players in small cap stocks are the mfunds. Russell 2k index ended 2005 at 673 It closed last night at 764 for a Q1 gain of 13.5%. From what I've heard most small cap manager who benchmark vs R2k will not begin to panic until the index gets near 740 (implying a 10% gain for Q1).

Worth bearing in mind. But for now I'll stay short with a stop at B/E.
 
whoaaa.... "text book" bounce off of the pre-fomc highs.

wouldn't it fun to see ER2 print a new high before selling off again. :eek:

Well, that 1PMcst buy program didn't work. Indices drifted back down. Let's see if the proverbial "they" have better luck at 2pm and then again at 2:30pm
 
yeah i couldnt resist, and shorted 3 there, that was the last time i swear. they know its like crack for us and a good place to find predictable counter-liquidity because they used to work so well

i'm not shorting it again and this time i mean it.
