Is there nowhere else a trader can go these days to get leverage in equities?
You might want to look into single stock futures. I think they are levered at 5 to 1. And they are not as illiquid as everyone says as they are arbed quite heavily.

As of now i`m trading options outright on my signals in addition to equity index futs so i`m def not opposed to giving more derivatives a peek.
They trade tick for tick with the stock and there is no uptick rule to get short. It's a binary product. Granted you have to focus more on the large cap stocks vs small caps.

WTS/T3 and Bright are not the only firms that offer leverage in equities. Try Chimera, they don't rely on "education seminars" for revenue, and neither does Hold Bros. You can also look into Avatar Securities out of NY. If they want your business, they will call you back.

Sure, no problem. And yes, Hold is still around, although as I recall they moved the main office from NY to NJ. They self-clear their trades, and have their own free software so your fixed costs are reduced, unless you want to link it with Esignal, which of course is a paid monthly service.
If I'm not mistaken, T3 bought out Avatar as well.
