I got sell signals today on 5, 10 and 30 yr. Its usually pretty good when all three trigger same day. I hope it works well for you.

The best thing about trading off the tools I'm using is when you are wrong there is absolutely no way to justify keeping a bad trade. Got out AUD/JPY at a loss yesterday. I opened a small GBP/USD short. I realized I should ignore news. I have hurt myself this week by overthinking things and closing positions early to be flat in front of important news. In general it seems news events just provide the catalyst to drive the move that the data was already indicating. I developed my methodology purely based on data, not news. The right answer is to trade size where big spikes from news aren't a big deal. It's not like you can really protect yourself from those big spikes anyways. IE a missile attack on Syria etc...

I'm seeing further downside in bonds for now. Metals too, but wouldn't be suprised if the metals drop is short lived. And finally seeing a tiny bit of weakness in US equities. Not a signal yet, but something besides pure buy buy buy lol.
 
stopped out this morning on my GLD calls. Still long TLT puts, looking ok.

In hindsight (isn't that a beautiful concept), while I went long GLD on a 23 break, the Comey thing may have been too much of a binary overlay, which I usually try to avoid. lessons reinforced.

also..in reviewing trade, I should have sold it yesterday, at the close when it was closing back below 23. The reason for buying it (break above 23) was null and void, should have exited then.
 
Interesting day today...

Looking lucky so far on the GBP trade, got a further sell signal today on data before the news started to hit, so just going to let it ride and trust the spreadsheet.

Metals are still a short. Bonds look like they want to go back up. And...getting sell signal on ES and NQ today. I haven't run through the SP500 individually yet but won't have time til later.

My call is get back into gold when it hits support, trend is not done yet.
 
I ran the SP500 components, they don't really support a short yet. Either way I'm not trading it yet, just trying to practice tracking everything. My only live trades right now are the currencies and my attempts at timing physical gold and silver buys and sells.

With gold continuing its decline, glad I took the loss when I did.....

Re-enforces my belief that "the first loss is always the best one to take".
