I've been using Ensign with DTN data and am very impressed with the charts but not the time and sales window. There's no option to colour trades at the bid or the ask so tape reading is a non-starter. Has anyone managed to find a way round this e.g. with an add-on or even a totally separate piece of software just for time and sales?

If you have a DTN.IQ subscription feeding Ensign ($59/month with annual subscription), you can run the DTN.IQ software along side Ensign (at no extra charge) and get close to what you are looking for. In the DTN.IQ T&S app, there are tick marks "<<" next to the bid or the ask if the trade was at the bid or the ask.
