The reality is that the criteria to end Plan B in the U.K. has been in place for quite a while. Now that Omicron has retreated in the U.K. they are opening up again. Why is this surprising to anyone?

They hit their vaccination/booster targets like Spain (unlike the US) however this is a political move by Boris, as is Spain's to gamble and jump the gun a bit. Scotland and Wales listening to the same science but not facing a vote of no confidence are taking a little more time.

Well, Boris was about to be ousted in a no-confidence coup by his own party so that probably helped convince him. Actually I was sure he would ride those policies into the ground but maybe he will hang on now.

Australia is dead to me. All my cruiser friends sail right past NZ and Australia to refit and resupply in Indonesia, Malaysia or Thailand. Anywhere but AUS or NZ.

All around the world Covid has created petty tyrants at all levels... "dictating the rules, science be damned"!! Even the doctors who should know better.

It's all so tragic and sick.... not to mention the hundreds-of-thousands/MILLIONS of lives which have been needlessly SACRIFICED for "the narrative".
