or God’s sake, those who start new threads on politics during Christmas Day or other major family oriented holidays is someone who is unbalanced and spending too much time on social media.

Probably an average of thirty minutes per day is in the realm of healthy online participation. Beyond that, best to be paid or reassess one’s purpose for living. Personally, I’m going to be spending less time on ET, but the time I do spend here will be of higher quality. I hope you do the same.

You see Christmas day is Christmas eve in Colombia so other than setting up WW1984 and making a dinner for three.. Nothing else to do besides a replying to dozens of messages on the phone. I kind of miss letters which took more effort but you write them over a month.

At least none of those 2020 multi-household, multi-generational, no masker photos in my extended circle. 2021 new years.. Its going to be the number on a lot of their tombstones, not a celebration.

I'm looking forward to Baron removing FT and me. It was good work to get the fake Jew to disappear with the Slart nic, he was 10x smarter than FT but its 2020 so this is what it's at.

By the way, there is some cause for optimism for the future because elementary schools and higher seem to be relearning the importance of teaching their students critical thinking and problem solving again, probably leading to more competent future generations.

Hillary was probably the smartest US Presidential candidate since Bill Clinton, although she did act entitled and divisive.

As far as age, Trump was not a spring chicken himself.

As far as who the Left will support, it depends on what their heavily worshipped God, CNN wants them to support.

Trump’s leadership was amazing. Not perfect, but still amazing. It will be a long time before this country sees another leader like him, if ever. Assuming what we call a country in the future is comparable to the country that created an exceptional place for economic opportunity, innovation, quality of life, and personal freedom.

When I notice KKK was missing, my mind immediately went to he was in jail. He had something of a brain when he felt like it but he was very overtaken by dark.

Don't mention Pointy! No reason to think he is dead or nothing so don't tempt fate. He found ET politics by Google search and I'm sure he went to another random place to make his fresh troll nest after. :) My changing the Slart picture to a pisstake of his just as I had it closed, gave him a twitch.

That is interesting about schools, something many in education started to think should come naturally (seemed the rot started in the late 1970s) analysis, interpretation, inference, explanation, self-regulation, openmindedness and problem solving really do need to be taught and reinforced. I know I benefited very much from actual formal logic etc. classes. You can see how it all spins.

Dunno, ET has been the first time in my life I do nothing whatever useful. A part of me feels I should go back to my worthy duties and stop slacking off. I've had a pile of CPAP machines in the cupboard for two months I need to fix and give out. There is no special interest in it other than I found a couple of clever chip replacement fixes to these expensive little boxes and can buy lots of broken ones. Unfair as brought up Catholic we had to always have something useful going and protestants always making out Catholics are lazy. I'd be fine if that stereotype was true and I could stay in bed longer. ET has been my proxy ;)
