I once asked the big question, to a woman I loved.
I found a ring somewhere, but I knew she would say no, so , I presented her with the ring, and a pack of cheezels, just to make it easy on her.
Come to think of it was harder on me.........I really loved her, and I knew she would say "no thanks".
At least the Cheezels were a consolation.
