Europe pays about the same for the gasoline commodity as we do.. their extra costs are all TAXES! We have $.60-ish/gal taxes... they have $5/gal in taxes.

That's SOCIALISM for you.

Interesting note about fuel taxes, and graph. Yes, it's one year old, but tax rates appear to be about the same.

Looks pretty 'anti-socialist' to me, especially in comparison. Good point Mr. Scat.
