Ending Foodstamp Fraud

How do they get the food now, it doesn't fall from the sky or magically appear? They can pickup prepared food boxes at grocery stores. Which may also assemble food boxes. In addition, the recipients can work 10 hours a week assist in the administration, assembly and distribution. At the same time learn a skill. Problem solved.

An elegant solution that should be implemented immediately, actually should have been that way from the beginning.

Boxing food is not a skill

Boxing food is not a skill

Showing up to a job is a skill, working as part of a team is a skill, looking presentable is a skill, counting items is a skill, being responsible is a skill, giving back is a skill...part of the list of skills lacking in many recipients.

btw. tell the warehouse workers who actually box items to earn a wage to feed their OWN family that it is not a skill. Don't be a jackass.

Everything is a skill, more or less, to a certain degree or extent.
It's not necessarily right to belittle people, or look down on them, because of pay grade scale.

You missed the point entirely

No, I didn't. I actually agreed with the first portion of your post. And then you went and made a snarky comment about how Republicans are the party that thinks soda taxes are bad - and you did so as part of an (incorrect) assumption that this is because Republicans believe soda is good for you (as evidenced by your follow up comment regarding pizza sauce being a vegetable). But that's not why they are against soda taxes at all.

The problem with ALL sin taxes is that the taxing body counts on the money yet if the tax is effective in limiting the sin, they are short money and we knooow how they love that.
